Jerusalem is probably the most unique city when it comes to religious significance. It is the only city in the world which is believed to be holy by Jewish, Christians and Muslims alike. While being a modern city, Jerusalem is a very traditional city in Israel. It is the largest city in the country and is also one of the oldest ones in the world. Besides being a pilgrimage destination, it is rapidly getting popular as a tourist destination. Jerusalem attracts tourists from all over the world who come here for its exotic culture and breathtaking architecture. Obviously, with the increase in tourists, hotels in Jerusalem have also increased and the accommodation facilities are developing.


Jerusalem has a wide variety of accommodation options which you can find in its various sectors. Jerusalem is divided into to six districts- Old Town, Chareidi Jerusalem, Ein Kerem, East Jerusalem, West Jerusalem and Talpiot.

The Tower Hotel Jerusalem is also a good option in this price range. For luxury and world class comfort, you can choose the The King David Hotel, Dan Panorama and The David Citadel Hotel all of which are world famous hotel chains. If you want to reside in ultra orthodox Jewish are of Chareidi Jerusalem, then Ramat Tamir Hotel is a good option.

This part of the city is the Jewish center of Jerusalem and is exclusively inhabited by Jewish population. Jerusalem is one of those cities where you will see different religious sects residing together, yet there is prevalent segregation.

Thus, make sure that you book your hotel in Jerusalem which suits you and your lifestyle. For example, people in the more Orthodox parts of the city won't like if you wear short skirts or engage in some public display of affection. Almost every hotel in Israel, serves kosher meals, but you can also find other kinds of food.
